Inclusive leadership is the practice of leadership that carefully includes the contributions of all stakeholders in the community or organization. The way a leadership mind is structured depend on how he structures his organization. An individual mindset might over shadow their ability to effectively overturn certain decision or behaviors. A leaderââ¬â¢s values and characteristics strengthen the organization cultural diversity. Modern leaders use different styles and skills to shape human intuition. Biological sex refers to both genetic and anatomic. It is different from gender because there is assigned gender which is given to a child at birth and gender identity which is ââ¬Å"a personââ¬â¢s internal sense of being male or femaleâ⬠(127). Additionally, there are gender roles which differ by culture and it presents how a person should behavior, the responsibilities a person should have, and their rights based on their sex. However, I can easily maintain an interactive relation with an unknown person, if it is required for my professional commitments or development. I have secured 16% in sensing over intuition. Thus, according to the test I can sense any upcoming occurrences by using my senses and previous experience. It means I only rely on my senses and experience over assumption or intuition. I do agree with the result as, I rely on my previous experience and evidence to reach to any conclusion instead of assumption. I think it is important for any plan to work. Assumption may lead a person or a team to meet any awful consequences. I believe a person must learn from his or her previous experience, it helps them to avoid many future risks. The result shows that I prefer feeling over thinking, which signifies that I am an emotional person. According to the reports, I mostly rely on my feelings while making any decision. It does not mean I do not think over any issue, but while taking any general decision I mostly depend on my feelings. She had been so distracted by the waitressââ¬â¢ bright red hair that her father called her name three times before she remembered to order. Then before she could stop herself, she blurted ââ¬Å"Your hair looks awfulâ⬠to the waitress. She couldnââ¬â¢t help but say what she was thinking in her mind. Lisa has always had a problem with her impulsiveness and not thinking things through before she acted. Its not that she just didnââ¬â¢t care about whatââ¬â¢s right and what wrong, she couldnââ¬â¢t help but act out or say whatever it was going on in her head. Her parents wondered why her grades were not good, and why she always got in trouble in school. They just though she was a bad girl and didnââ¬â¢t care about anything. Eventually, her parents took her to see a psychiatrist. Lisa talked with the doctor alone and told him everything thatââ¬â¢s going on in her life. The doctor then ta lked with Lisaââ¬â¢s parents and they told him about all of Lisaââ¬â¢s problems in school and at home. The doctor reached a conclusion on what was wrong with Lisa. It wasnââ¬â¢t a case of her just being bad and impulsive. The doctor told Lisa and her parents that she had Attention Deficit Disorder. Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) is a growing problem in U.S. One of the first questions parents ask when they find out their child has ADD is ââ¬Å"why, what went wrong?â⬠The fact is children with ADD cant help the fact they have it. ADD is a chemical imbalance in the brain. It is caused by a lack of seretonin in the brain. Seretonin is the ââ¬Å"happyâ⬠chemical in the brain, which controls negative impulses, and positive desires. When there is a lack of seretonin, the person canââ¬â¢t concentrate or control their actions. ADD can be detected in children easily. Children with ADD usually have problems in school. Exploring Your Family's or a Friend's History of Immigration and how it connects to some of the stories in The life stories - Essay Example When the opportunity came for Filipinos to be in America as Navy recruit or contracted worker, grandfather Protacioââ¬â¢s parents seized the opportunity and enlisted him to join the latter. As the oldest child in the family, grandfather Protacio was forced to accept the opportunity to help his family and build a better future for himself in the United States. Grandfather Protacio left the Philippines to be one of the ââ¬Å"1946 boysâ⬠who arrived in U.S. territory as a contracted worker in farmlands. Much like the Syrian immigrants who were awed with the grandeur of New York (Holt 249), grandfather Protacio was equally awed by the richness of American farms compared to the ailing farms in his province and spent so much time at the farm during the day and exploring the city at night that he forgot his responsibilities in the Philippines for a while. Grandfather Protacio has heard a lot of America and its greatness as ââ¬Å"the land of freedom and civilizationâ⬠(Holt 25 7) thus, he was caught off guard to the racial discrimination when he arrived the same with the Japanese who felt humiliated because of discrimination and abused in his domestic job (Holt 260). At the time grandfather Protacio arrived in the U.S., the Congress has passed a law that permits Filipinos to qualify as American citizens. Despite of this, racial discrimination to Filipinos was very high. According to Melendy in his article ââ¬Å"Filipino Americansâ⬠, Filipinos were discriminated due to their skin color and inability to speak English like the white Americans. Like the story of the Chitkara family and the Indian Ab-nen-la-de-ni who experienced the language barrier, grandfather Protacio had difficulty expressing his thoughts and feelings at work due to his limited English. He must ââ¬Å"speak English or remain silentâ⬠(Holt 210) not only as a requirement but because the other employees were also immigrants of different nationalities and the only language they can communicate to each other is in English. Although farm works were not new to grandfather Protacio since he came from a family of farmers, the intense labor requiring more hours in the field, irregular meal provision, and unfit clothing for different seasons has taken its toll on his health. Striving to get off in his current situation, grandfather Protacio bargained with his employer to allow him to be a working student. Like Ab-nen-la-de-ni, grandfather Protacio ââ¬Å"went to school in the morning and work in the afternoonâ⬠(Holt 211) and did his home works at night in a dimly lit room shared with the other farm workers. The bargain though has been difficult because the wife of his employer did not agree to allow non-American workers to attend school. If the Indian suffered from the attack and mismanagement of the Head Directress in the Institute (Holt 216), grandfather Protacio suffered from mistreatment of his employerââ¬â¢s wife by working unpaid overtime and was accu sed of stealing and selling boxes of fruits in the city. Worst of all, his employment visa was not renewed forcing him to resign and looked for another job that could ensure his stay in the country since he cannot afford to go back empty handed in the Philippines. Grandfather Protacio was desperate but his desire to succeed and help his family fueled him to continue despite the meager amount of money left in his wallet. Fortunately, he found a job in the
